Employer Matching

Multiply the impact of your generosity to the University of South Alabama through your employer’s matching gift program. Many companies will match charitable contributions dollar-for-dollar — and sometimes even double or triple your gift — making it one of the easiest ways to increase your support for USA at no additional cost to you.

Use the search tool to see if your employer will match your donation as well as to access the forms, guidelines and instructions you need to submit a matching gift.

How Employer Matching Works

Thousands of employers sponsor matching gift programs that support their employees’ charitable giving. Depending on your company’s policy, they may:

  • Match your personal donations
  • Match gifts made by spouses or retirees
  • Provide grants for volunteer hours

How to Take Advantage of Matching Gifts

Getting your gift matched is simple:

  1. Check with your employer to see if they offer a matching gift program or search with the tool above.
  2. Request a matching gift form (paper or online) from your company.
  3. Complete and submit the form according to your employer’s process.
  4. Send the completed form with your gift or follow your company’s online submission instructions.

Once submitted, your employer will verify the donation and issue a matching contribution to South.
