Tuesday Evening Physics

The Department of Physics at the University of South Alabama (USA) announces the Tuesday Evening Physics program, presenting a broad range of physics topics, including classical physics and modern physics, all within the context of ongoing research at USA. There are seven lectures, below, which are free of charge and open to high school students, teachers, and parents. Each lecture will be in room 240 in the Mathematical Sciences and Physics Building (MSPB), 411 North University Boulevard, Mobile AL 36688. It will begin at 7:00 p.m. and end by 8:00 p.m. Refreshments will be provided, as well as souvenirs and certificates for those who complete the whole series. Advance reservations are required: Please call (251) 460-6224, or email at physics@southalabama.edu. Students are encouraged to arrive at least 15 minutes before the program starts.
