Mission Statement:

Academic advisors guide our diverse undergraduate population in developing and implementing sound educational plans consistent with our students’ stated values and academic and career goals. Academic advisors encourage students to become self-directed learners and decision-makers and to help facilitate their transition at each point in their undergraduate career. Finally, our efforts support the University of South Alabama’s broader mission, specifically by encouraging student persistence towards graduation.
