SOC Graduate Research Assistantships
SOC offers a limited number of research assistantships to highly qualified applicants. These assistantships pay full tuition, for a maximum of 10 semester hours per semester, and provide a generous stipend while offering research mentoring.
Graduate Assistantships are awarded for 1 academic year (Master’s level – Fall and Spring Semesters, PhD Level – Fall, Spring, and Summer Semesters) and can be renewed for one additional year for Master’s students and two additional years for PhD students, at the recommendation of the faculty mentor.
Assistantships are awarded based on a competitive application process. Application packets will be evaluated by the Director of Graduate Studies and the Chairs of the CS and IST Departments according to the research needs of the School of Computing for the upcoming academic year.

- Obtain 2 Letters of Recommendation
