Cybersecurity

Cybersecurity is a core research focus in the School of Computing. Students in any undergraduate major can pursue a concentration in Information Assurance, and the School is designated a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity for both Cyber Defense and Cyber Research.

Faculty research spans software security, moving target defense, digital forensics, cloud security, side-channel analysis, secure software engineering, and critical infrastructure protection. Areas of expertise include aviation and automotive systems, additive manufacturing, SCADA and medical devices, as well as cybersecurity technology transfer to practice.
